You can always rely on brennenstuhl® quality: with extended manufacturer’s guarantees, brennenstuhl® offers significantly more than is customary in the industry. Guarantee periods of two, three, five or ten years for appropriately marked products go well beyond the statutory requirements.
Our manufacturer’s guarantee applies to Brennenstuhl products that are marked with a brennenstuhl® guarantee icon or corresponding wording on the product itself, its original packaging or in our sales catalogue:
Which EU guarantee label applies to my brennenstuhl® product?
With the new EU guarantee label, the comprehensive brennenstuhl® manufacturer’s guarantee continues to apply. To make it easy to identify the previous guarantee marking on the packaging, we have directly compared the existing brennenstuhl® guarantee marking with the corresponding new EU guarantee label.
Products marked with “3-year manufacturer’s guarantee” correspond to the 3-year EU guarantee label.
Products marked with “5-year manufacturer’s guarantee” correspond to the 5-year EU guarantee label.
Products marked with “10-year manufacturer’s guarantee” correspond to the 10-year EU guarantee label.
Guarantee Conditions
The guarantee period is specified as 10, 5, 3 or 2 years. It runs for the respective period from the date of the first purchase by a user, regardless of where in the world the purchase was made.
To provide proof of entitlement to the guarantee, a detailed proof of purchase (sales receipt, delivery note or invoice from the selling retailer) is required and sufficient.
The manufacturer’s guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects that occurred during the manufacture of the product. Our guarantee service consists of rectifying such defects free of charge by repair or replacement after the product has been sent to us. Rechargeable batteries, batteries and light sources are excluded from the manufacturer’s guarantee.
Our manufacturer’s guarantee and the services provided under it are voluntary services offered by us, and making use of the guarantee is also voluntary. Neither making use of the guarantee nor choosing not to do so has any adverse effect on statutory claims against us, the selling retailer or any other party. In particular, the consumer’s statutory rights in the event of defects, which can be exercised free of charge, are not restricted by this guarantee. This also applies to the consumer’s rights against the seller.
We provide shipping labels for the free return of products covered by the guarantee. Please contact us via our contact form, providing details of the product, the place and date of purchase, as well as a brief description of the defect. Contacting us in this way preserves the guarantee period.
Please note that defects resulting from improper use or unauthorized intervention are excluded from the guarantee. To prevent damage during transport, the product must be sent in sturdy, impact-resistant packaging with appropriate protective wrapping.
Guarantee services do not result in the renewal or extension of the guarantee period. Replaced products or parts of products become our property.
